I am so excited about the Presidential Inauguration that I can hardly contain my excitement. I have never been more proud in my life than I am right now with Barack Obama about to celebrate the 44th Presidential Inauguration. I couldn't be happier if it was my own brother who who was about to take charge of the world's greatest country, United States of America. I am truly looking forward to the next 4 years and hopefully 4 more after that.
Obama's campaign to the White House has been so amazing that our 6 year old daughter and her friend made up an incredible song about Mr. Obama's journey to the White House during our town rally. They sang the song in front of the crowd on the steps of our City Hall. She came home every day talking about the children in her first grade class and what their families think about Mr. Obama.
Whenever our 3 year old daughter sees a picture of a glode, she points to it and says, "That's Obama." She asssociates the globe with Barack Obama. Right before she turned 3, she was playing while the news was on and she heard someone mention Obama for President and she jumped up and said, "Mommy, they said Barack Obama. Barack Obama already win." Indeed, he had just won a few days before.
How amazing is it that one man can inspire such small children to care and get involved in politics? Pretty amazing if you ask me ...
